'Baddass' International Human rights Barrister and QC Kirsty Brimelow who had a difficult journey into Law and is still overcoming barriers all over the world to help others with no voice.
Kenyan-born Lawyer Yasmin Ali spoke about the difficulties in her training as she wanted to succeed In her career and how she never gave up.
The evening was organised with the help and support of a mother and daughter team who wanted to give back to the communtity. They are the amazing family run dental clinics @caredental Platinum on Hammersmith Road, London. We were gifted with love a goody bag each which also contained a peace of unique jewellery designed by their mother Aysin Al-Naher a business owner and Founder of @lujainjewellery. They look forward to help and support WFWN as well as other organisations in the future.
Amongst those invited from Waltham Forest were Saira Mir who runs a homeless charity @pl84u_alsuffa, Farah Ahmed chair of Waltham Forest Womens Network for her support, Sam Darr, Dr Sayeda Abu-Amero, Sanah Begum and Nadia Baksh from WFWN were all Waltham Forest Women also acknowledged.
We of course would like to praise and continue to support Hibo Wadare, she is a beacon and powerhouse for women in our borough and we are just so proud of her.
A successful International Women’s Day event for Waltham Forest Women’s Network (WFWN) after hosting a dinner and dance for the women of the borough. It was a night filled with dance and laughter.
